About Old Ealonians Association
|
This is the website of the Old Ealonians Association, an association for the alumni
of the Ealing Grammar School for Boys.
The school was opened in 1913 as the Ealing County School. It became the Ealing
County Grammar School in the 1930's, and eventually Ealing Grammar School for Boys. Its buildings
were expanded in 1936, and again in the 1950's when a new science block was built at the back of the
site adjacent to Walpole Park.

In 1974, Ealing Borough adopted the comprehensive education system, and the school
became Ealing Green High School. In 1992, it was taken over by the new Ealing Tertiary College,
and finally Hammersmith and West London College merged with Ealing Tertiary College to form the
Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College in January 2002.
